You, beauty is a live performance that brings to life an otherworldly trickster and monstrous feminine being. The piece serves as a spell rejecting dominant Western conceptions of beauty and purging forms of self-criticism, self-hatred, and internalized homophobia.

Red cord extends out from the being's two mouths to audience members, connecting the spell delivered through vocals to the audience. The being's amorphous, slippery, shape-shifting qualities celebrate bodily autonomy and the body's rejection of being contained and controlled.
