Creative Learning Programs

various organizations, 2014 to present

Since 2014, I have developed and delivered numerous workshops, discussions, and programs connecting people with the visual arts for organizations across the US and Australia, including PICA (Perth Institute of Contemporary Art), Art on the Move, Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery, The University of Western Australia and Tang Teaching Museum, among others.

In my work as an educator, I strive to cultivate a caring and warm environment that foregrounds openness, curiosity, play, and collaboration. My approach is participant-led and aims to support people in developing confidence in their own creative voice and ideas, a method that has been guided by my training in Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) and extensive experience as a group facilitator.

I have developed art-making workshops that cover a range of ideas, with a particular focus on modes of storytelling, such as puppetry, photography, and performance. I have experience working with people across a wide spectrum of ages and backgrounds.
