An Echo, A Haunting is a live performance performed with upstate NY-based musician Elizabeth Karp. Featuring live music and recorded sound, movement, and handmade objects, the performance explores the distortions of memory, language, and reality through what remains: the music of Yoko Ono. Central to the work is a 34-foot-long hand-dyed and silkscreened scroll that transforms a series of personal redacted emails from fourteen years ago into both a costume and musical score.
An Echo, A Haunting is supported by a grant from the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture and the City of Boston.
