This series of six short videos were created in collaboration with artist Michelle Hall for her live theatre work, The Dirty Mother.

An autobiographical, post-natal descent story, The Dirty Mother follows one woman through pregnancy, childbirth and into the confounding world of motherhood(s). Projected during the performance, the videos act as a visual counterpart or underbelly of the work, exploring the complex and at times traumatic psychological terrain of the story.

The Dirty Mother has been presented at the State Theatre of Western Australia in 2022 (Perth/Boorloo), Fringe Festival Melbourne in 2021, Fringe Festival Perth in 2020, and at the Blue Room Theatre in 2019 (Perth/Boorloo). It has been nominated for 2021 Best Actor by Performing Arts WA, 2020 Best Theatre by Melbourne Fringe Festival and 2020 Tour Ready by Perth Fringe Festival.
